If you suspect there has been an unauthorized log-in attempt to your EQUOS account, we highly recommend you freeze your account as soon as possible to restrict any further deposit, trade, and withdrawal attempts.
Step 1: Click on your User Profile on the top-right corner of your dashboard. If you're on the Trading screen (/trade), click on the burger-menu icon on the top-right of your browser window. Then, click on Accounts or User Profile.
Step 2: Under the Security section, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Freeze Account.
Step 3: We will ask you to confirm the action once more in a pop-up window. Your account will then be frozen.
If you lose account access or would like to unfreeze it, please contact our Customer Support team via firstname.lastname@example.org or click on the chat widget at the bottom right-hand side of the EQUOS page.
